Katie lives with her husband and children in Africa. She has years of experience working in construction company in California, and enjoying teaching schools in Africa. 

She is passionate about getting more students off the streets of Africa into classrooms. She coordinates with the local school authorities to determine where more classrooms are needed, works with the consultants and Quantity Surveyors to determine costs of projects. She also selects possible sites where additional classrooms may be constructed.
