Back in the day existed chalkboards, and today, they have been replaced mostly with technology, the transformation that has changed life for the better. With the introduction of technology and classroom enhancements programs of Build-a-School Initiatives, the whole idea of education has transformed and taken a new dimension for the communities that we serve. Teaching has now taken a much more engaging and captivating approach, which has helped both the students and the teachers.
Classroom technology and resource enhancements has enabled us to build enthusiasm for learning in children, but it has also made communication a lot easier collaterally. With enhanced communication, a school authorities can function effectively, ensuring the students are rightly benefitting from the knowledge they are receiving.
Our Safe learning building initiatives is centered around four cardinal programs.
Student Desks and School Supply Program
Besides uniforms, we also provide the classrooms we create or rehabilitate with students' desks. We also provide students with backpacks and school supplies, which prevents the sense of discrimination amongst children and reduce any level of distress for the parents.
One can never forget the happiness that their first school bag brings them, and nothing compares to the attachment they develop; you can give that to even one child. Being the non-profit organization that we are, we believe it is our utmost duty to give back all we can, and our outstanding efforts that often always go overlooked by others make us stand out.
With only 6% of young people even enrolled in educational institutions in Africa, the only way to reverse the inevitable illiteracy is by taking the initiative, which we have. With your generous contributions, you'll have impacted many.
Repurposing of Old Computers & Smartphones Program
Who could have thought that repurposing computers especially laptops and smartphones could help not only the planet but the education sector too? Instead of throwing away your old laptops and smartphones, we urge you to make your way to us and donate them for a better cause.
With the technology that you donate to us, we improvise the tech and make it suitable again. Computers are the portal that allows students to access billions of sources of information out there, quickly clarifying the many benefits of technology in the classroom.
On the other hand, smartphones are a much more portable option that students can carry with themselves and gain access to unlimited resources of education that we feed in them. Technology for classrooms continues to break through all boundaries. With as little as one considerate gesture, one can play their part in bettering the environments and the literacy rates in the African children.
Student Uniform and Everyday Clothing Program
The necessity of a uniform excels way beyond what we see it to be. Besides showing the students as a part of a project, it also indicates unity, an expression that we are all in it together to achieve something for the children's collateral good in Africa.
On the other hand, uniforms teach students to dress smartly and take absolute pride in their looks. As they transition into professional lives, their uniforms are what will maintain their laidback aura.
We also take the responsibility of providing the students with uniforms. We understand the burden it can cause parents to purchase merely just uniforms for the children to acquire quality education. The strategies that we have deployed seek to address the parents' worries so their children may excel.
Student Resource Center Program
While academics are fundamental, it is no doubt that extracurriculars play a more significant part in grooming a child. Thus, our experts put together the most updated Student Resource Center initiatives that are geared towards equipping each school with the right tools to serve all the needs and even excel all students' needs.
Student Resource Center helps in providing precisely the direction that students need. With a range of self-help resources and interactive workshops, we ensure that the process of development is as thrilling as it can be for them.
